Fire crews attended a building fire in Scaleby last night (July 23). 

The fire which took place at 6:30pm in an outbuilding in Town Head, Scaleby, was extinguished after one hour and half. 

A spokesperson from Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service said: "Two fire engines attended a fire involving an outbuilding in Town Head, Scaleby. Firefighters used two breathing apparatus, two hose reels and a thermal image camera to extinguish the fire and were detained approximately one hour and thirty minutes."
