Police have closed Church Street in Whitehaven town centre after a tree fell into the road
A town centre road is currently closed due to a fallen tree.
Police have closed Church Street at the junction with George Street in Whitehaven, which provides a main route through the town centre.
A tree next to the former Brackenthwaite care home has fallen into the road.
Motorists are being diverted via George Street.
