MEMBERS from Keswick Fire Station were called to a crash on the A66 today (July 23). 

The crew were mobilised to the incident at 3:55pm, which involved a white van and a Volkswagen Beetle on the A66, by the Thornthwaite lay-by. 

A spokesperson from the organisation confirmed that all involved were handed over safely to the North West Ambulance and members of Cumbria Police. 

The Keswick Fire Station took the moment to remind people to "take care whilst driving".
