Teenage girl taken to hospital with injuries after being hit by car
A TEENAGE girl has been taken to hospital after a crash on the Maryport Road near to Dearham.
Police were called at 3:35pm today, Thursday July 21 to the report of a road traffic collision involving a car and pedestrian on Maryport Road.
The road was closed whilst emergency services attended the scene.
The pedestrian, a teenage girl, was taken to hospital with injuries described as minor.
The road has since reopened.
