KESWICK firefighters have warned people to be more cautious after they were called to disposable barbecue left alight within a bin.
Crews were called to the incident on Lake Road, Keswick after smoke was found coming from the dustbin yesterday evening (Friday July 15 at 9:30pm)
Crews were quick to put out the disposable bbq but have warned the public to only use bbqs in a suitable safe area and never leave them unattended.
A spokesman for Keswick Fire Station said: "With the warmer weather and the increased numbers of people visiting the area to please follow our safety information."
