Police say they have found a missing vehicle after concerns were raised for a woman's welfare.

Police made the announcement in the early hours of this morning (July 4).

This followed an urgent appeal for public information about a missing red Citroen which was issued yesterday (July 3)

When the appeal was made, the vehicle had last been seen in Workington at around 3:00 pm that day, and anyone who had seen it was asked to contact the police on 999.

Having found it, the police thanked those who shared the appeal.
