FIREFIGHTERS rescued a person after an incident down a ledge.
Three crews were called out to the incident in Ambleside Road in Windermere shortly after 6pm on Friday.
A spokesman for Cumbria Fire Service said: "Three fire engines attended Ambleside Road, Windermere, to rescue a casualty from a height down a ledge.
"Crews used working at height equipment to rescue the casualty and were at scene for just under one hour."
No further details of the incident have been shared.
