Katie Chesworth, Projects & Social Media Manager of the SCRDC said: "As a community rail partnership, one of our roles is to work in partnership with the rail industry, local businesses, community groups and organisations to encourage socio-economic engagement along the world-renowned Settle to Carlisle railway.
"Covid has had a huge impact on businesses in the area, and the aim of our Summer of Fun campaign is to encourage our passengers to visit the Eden Valley and Yorkshire Dales and have great day trips out in the area.
"We’d love to have our passengers join in, sharing their trips along the railway using #SettleCarlisleSummerOfFun."
