A THREE-year-old girl has been bitten by a dog in a park in Carlisle.
A spokesperson from Cumbria Police said: "No significant injury was caused during the incident, which happened at a park in the area of Parkland Drive on June 8 at about 7.25pm.
"The child was playing in the park. A woman, described as having blonde hair and a spaniel dog, black with a white dipped tail, was in the park.
"The dog was reported to be not on a lead.
"It ran up to the child and bit her."
