THE Gypsy King’s visit to Carlisle has been rescheduled.

The two-time world heavyweight champion, Tyson Fury, will now be heading to the city on July 2, instead of June 18.

For those that have purchased, all tickets are now automatically valid for the rescheduled date, and tickets will be sent by text message 48 hours before the event – and as a special thank you from Tyson Fury, all ticket holders will receive a gift on the evening of the event.

Organisers, Goldstar Promotions and IM Events, have also announced that Tyson's father, John Fury, will also be appearing on the night.

IM Events took to social media to announce the rescheduling: "Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, Goldstar Promotions and IM Events have now had to reschedule Fury Fest. The event will now be taking place at The Sands Centre on Saturday 2 July.

"We apologise for any inconvenience caused by this unavoidable rescheduling," they said.

Tickets for the evening are on sale online at thesandscentre.co.uk or by calling 01228 633766.
