CARLISLE'S motorists will have three road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.
Two of them are expected to cause delays of between 10 and 30 minutes.
The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that one closure already in place is expected to carry on this week:
• M6, from 8pm March 6 to 6pm June 17, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M6 northbound and southbound, junction 42, Lane closure and closure of slip roads for lighting renewal.
And a further two closures will begin over the next seven days:
• A69, from 9am to 4pm on June 13, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A69 Nether Denton, near Low Row - traffic signals to rectify damaged BT Pole.
• A74(M), from 9pm June 25 to 9pm July 5, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M6 northbound and southbound, junction 43 to 45, Lane three closures for barrier inspections, Grasscutting/safety fence/drainage works.
