Three more of Workington Reds' key players have signed up for next season under returning manager Danny Grainger.
Matty Clarke, Jim Atkinson and David Symington have confirmed they are remaining at Borough Park for the 2022/23 season.
It comes as Grainger continues piecing together his squad in the bid to mount a promotion push in NPL West next season.
Full-back Clarke said Grainger, who recently returned to the club to replace Chris Willcock as manager, was a big part in his decision to stay.
"Last season was a tough one to take how it ended, and I feel like leaving at this time wouldn't be fair on the fans," said Clarke.
"I want to get the job done and do what we set out to do when I first joined the club."
Goalkeeper Atkinson is also extending his stay with the west Cumbrians.
He told the Reds website it was an "easy decision".
And Grainger said: "Jim was a huge success in my first spell as manager and I'm hoping he can have the same impact again.
"He is very important to the way we play and has a huge impact on the team on and off the pitch."
Former Carlisle United player Symington then became the latest to confirm he would remain at Reds under Grainger.
The manager said Symington's influence was "huge" and urged the 28-year-old to maintain his recent form to fire Workington towards promotion next season.
News of the three players' retention follows the announcements that Conor Tinnion, Scott Allison and Dan Wordsworth are also remaining at Borough Park.
