CUMBRIA Police have issued a statement this week to recognise International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia and Biphobia.
The day took place on May 17 with the police issuing a statement on their social media pages.
A spokesperson said: "Today is International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia and Biphobia.
"People are entitled to the same freedoms and protection as anyone else and deserve to live free from discrimination."
