Swansway Motor Group has responded to the economy in its annual Easter giveaway.

The family-owned and run company's annual 'spring patrol' in previous years has seen the group donate thousands of Easter Eggs to those who may not have had any celebratory fare over the Easter Weekend.
This year saw Swansway take a more considered approach to their Easter donation efforts.

Recognising that the increase in the cost of living has affected many people, Swansway worked closely with its long-standing charity partners including Cumbria Family Support based in Carlisle and Penrith to donate items that the organisations were in desperate need of. This ranged from cooking equipment to bedding donations and in the case of Cumbria Family Support, there were still some Easter Eggs for the children.
The company recognised the importance that their donations not only spread joy to families but supported them in the best way that they could.

Deb Royston, Chief Office from Cumbria Family Support said:

“As ever we are immensely grateful to Swansway Motor Group for their continued support for us and the families we work with. Being able to take those Easter eggs to our families was great fun as ever and the beaming smiles from the children are always lovely to see. Thank you Swansway as ever for thinking of us and for helping us to help our families that little bit more!”
Swansway Motor Group Director David Smyth commented; “We are dedicated to giving back to the communities that have continued to support us.

"We all know that this year, the need for family support has never been higher and we are delighted to be able to donate items that would help our chosen charities in their mission to support children and families in need. It’s our gift from the Swansway families to those families in need. And hopefully, if there are other businesses that are in a position to do so, they will be encouraged to do the same.”
