AN EDEN Valley man who was caught with cannabis and magic mushrooms in Penrith is to be sentenced by a Carlisle Crown Court judge.
Joe William Forrester, 25, committed the offences on October 9 last year. He pleaded guilty to both allegations as well as to driving an Audi A3 car while not insured and committing an offence while under a crown court suspended sentence order.
The defendant, of Glebe Road, Appleby, will be sentenced on May 17.
Following a hearing at Carlisle’s Rickergate Magistrates’ Court, he was granted unconditional bail until the day of that hearing. Magic mushrooms are a class A drug and cannabis class B.
