A tearoom in Pooley Bridge was burgled on Easter Monday (April 18).
Granny Dowbekin’s Tearoom and Teagardens had to remain closed until 11am Tuesday morning, whilst police investigated the situation.
This is the second time, officers at Cumbria Constabulary have had to investigate a break-in at the popular cafe, as of June 1 2021, a similar incident occurred.
At the time of the first break-in, entry into the property had been forced and a sum of money was taken during the burglary.
