Schools started back for their summer term this week.
Although we have seen a rise in temperature now and again, for most of us summer still feels a while away.
In this edition, our nostalgic take a tour archives will shoot forward to August. That is when the seeds sown in the spring are ready to be harvested.
But it also reminds us of how school exams were not at the forefront of everyone's mind.
