A CRYSTAL shop which started out small has gone from strength to strength... and announced a couple of upcoming moves.
Michelle Dunning opened her crystal shop 'Crystals and More' back in August 2021.
It started out as just a few crystals on a table, moving to a small shop but it was in a tiny space out of town.
The little shop grew so popular so quickly that after just five months she moved to 11 Cecil Street in Carlisle, which is a much larger space.
It continues to go from strength to strength.
Michelle says she sells literally hundreds of different crystals and gifts.
She said: "My shop has been described as a treasure trove and as an Aladdin's Cave.
"I am frequently complimented on the beautiful vibe I have created."
Fulfilling the 'and more' promise, Michelle said: "I have converted one of the back rooms of the shop into a therapy room so later this month I have an independent business joining me.
"They will offer Crystal Healing and Reiki three days a week too.
"I have a few people lined up to come and work in the shop on work experience to show them not just the shop but how to run an independent business.
"All this has been achieved during lockdowns and tough economic times yet we still go from strength to strength as I believe we provide something that Carlisle has been missing for a long time.
"I am proud to be helping support other small businesses and our next generation too.
"I have been in my current location, my forever home, for 11 weeks now.
"I am about to launch a crystal subscription box too, this is where you can receive a monthly box of not just crystals but also beautiful items based around a theme, for example, candles, books or self-care luxury items.
"Each month will be different and contain a newsletter.
"I am working towards making the shop a beautiful destination to visit not just for locals but for tourists too especially as we are less than five minutes walk from the train station.
"We have a Facebook group where people can interact with like-minded individuals, and see motivational posts as well as the latest crystals we have in."
