ORGANISERS of Silloth Music & Beer Festival have warned the public that time is running out to pick up discounted early bird prices.

The festival is celebrating 20 years of great local entertainment and will take place this year from Thursday, September 8 to Sunday, September 11 on Silloth Green.

The not-for-profit event’s committee members and festival helpers are unpaid volunteers; with money raised going towards organising future events in the town.

The festival’s aim is to provide an enjoyable, relaxed and entertaining four days for local people and to attract visitors to Silloth-on-Solway to help local businesses.

In addition to headline acts performing over the weekend (this year features Kopycat Killers and The Lancashire Hotpots), local bands also have a chance to perform on ‘the big stage’.

Around 60 real ales – many from Cumbria itself – are featured with some 20 draft ciders. For the non-real ale drinkers there is lager, perry ciders, wine, soft drinks and water on offer.

Early bird tickets cost £50 for the entire weekend and the offer ends on Tuesday, April 19. Tickets can be purchased on Event Brite.
