Carlisle Cathedral are looking for volunteers to help out with their 900th anniversary celebrations.
The Cathedral is a popular feature of the city with many people coming to visit it, those involved hope this initiative will bring more people to Carlisle.
A spokesperson said: "Many people know and love Carlisle Cathedral. Our hope is that many more will discover what an amazing place this is during 2022 – our 900th anniversary year.
"We are recruiting new Volunteers to join us as we welcome visitors from near and far. Volunteers have always played a hugely important part in the life of the Cathedral - and it easy to see that we could not do half of what we want to do without them."
