HELP: Some of the donations sent from Workington.
WORKINGTON Town Council have been left 'speechless' at the generosity of the people of Workington to those in Ukraine.
The council has been collecting donations to be sent to Ukraine in vans over the past week, with the public coming out to donate huge amounts of aid to Ukraine.
Workington Town Council took a van to the main collection point on Friday, and will now not be accepting any further donations to the Community Centre on Princess Street.
A spokesman for Workington Town Council, said: "We have dropped our sixth van load off at the collection point.
"We are absolutely speechless at the donations we have received over the last 9 days.
"Thank you to everyone who donated."
