TWO people have sustained injuries following the alleged attempted theft of a dog.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the attempted robbery that occurred on Thursday, January 20 at 3:15pm on Raffles Parade, Carlisle
It is reported two males have attempted to take the victim’s dog.
A spokesperson for Cumbria Police announced: "A woman in her twenties and a man in his thirties suffered minor injuries.
"Joseph Malloy, 31, of Dalton Avenue, Carlisle was charged in connection with attempt robbery, assault by beating and using threatening behaviour with intent to cause fear unlawful violence."
