A SIXTY-one-year-old woman is to be sentenced by a Carlisle Crown Court judge after she admitted assaulting a police officer and two allegations of disorderly behaviour.
Carol Oliver, of South Street, Carlisle, entered her guilty pleas to the allegations when she appeared before Judge Nicholas Barker.
The judge said he will pass sentence after background pre-sentence reports have been prepared.
The assault of the police officer was committed on July 14 last year, while the two disorderly behaviour offences – said to have caused alarm and distress – were committed in Carlisle on May 28 last year.
Judge Barker told the defendant: “You have previous for similar offences and you were recently made the subject of a community order.”
The judge said she will be sentenced on February 18, adding: “All options will be open to the court.”
The defendant was granted bail until the day of her sentence.
