Magistrates have given a conditional discharge to a man after he admitted assault.
Thomas Clark, 52, of Brindlefield, Wigton, pleaded guilty to common assault when he appeared at Workington Magistrates' Court on Monday.
The court was told that Clark had assaulted David Smith in Wigton on December 19 last year.
Clark was given a 12-month conditional discharge and must pay £85 costs and a £22 surcharge to fund victim services.
