A man has been jailed after breaching a restraining order.
Aaron McEwan, 25, of Kirkland Avenue, Wigton, pleaded guilty to harassment by breaching a restraining order.
He appeared at Workington Magistrates' Court on Monday.
The court was told that on December 21, McEwan had breached the restraining order by being in Waver Lane, Wigton.
He was barred from doing this by the order, which had been imposed on January 28, 2019.
The offence was committed while McEwan was subject to a community order which he was in breach of for the third time.
McEwan was sentenced to 14 weeks in prison. He must also pay £85 costs and a £128 surcharge to fund victim services.
