Cumbria Police are currently appealing for information into an assault which occurred on Sunday 5th December 2021.
The police are now following a new line of enquiry into the incident which occurred at Kemplay Bank Roundabout, Penrith.
A spokesperson said: "The incident involved two men, a 32-year-old man from the Penrith area and a 50-year-old man described as white, 5ft 5ins of average build, with grey hair short spikey hair. He was wearing a padded/quilted shirt with jeans.
"The 32-year-old man sustained bleeding to his face and mouth."
Police are appealing for witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage of the incident.
