The property in Longlands Road in Bowness was sold for nearly £1.9 million.
The four-bedroom detached house is said to feature 'panoramic' views over Windermere.
It has a large garden and four bathrooms.
Sold by property agents Fine and Country, it changed hands in June.
According to the Land Registry, it was sold for just £325,000 in 1997.
A six-bed home in Ambleside was the second most expensive sold at £1.45 million.
