A LEADING independent insurance brokers has appointed a new manager of its in-house claims team.

Stuart Torrance will lead the dedicated claims team at H&H Insurance Brokers, which operates across the North of England, the Scottish Borders and Wales.

Stuart brings more than 20 years of industry experience to the role including specialist knowledge of the rural sector, and in dealing with detailed technical claims.

Paul Graham, Managing Director of H&H Insurance Brokers, said Stuart’s appointment underlined the firm’s commitment to providing a first-class service to its clients.

Our dedicated in-house claims service ensures that if clients have to claim on their insurance, they know there will be someone who they can trust to deal with it on their behalf.

Led by Stuart, the in-house claims team at H&H Insurance Brokers also includes claims handler Susan Dudley, and apprentice claims handler Tom McGaffin, who are based at the firm’s head office in Carlisle.

Stuart said: “The job of the claims department is to make sure that we make the process of claiming on insurance as simple and efficient as possible for the client.

“We’re there to deal with insurers on behalf of the client so they get the best outcomes, and ensure that they can get back to normal as quickly as possible.”
