Business owners who are just starting out can benefit from support given by the local enterprise partnership.

Cumbria LEP is providing support to businesses in their area through a variety of courses and events.

The local enterprise partnership is asking the public to get in touch if they would like support to take their business to the next level.

Cumbria LEP hopes that the service helps business owners to: develop new products, processes or services; secure business finance, increase or start exporting; and adopt greener business practices.

The LEP said the support could help businesses develop workforce skills or connect with and learn from like-minded businesses.

A spokesperson for Cumbria LEP said: "Small businesses are the lifeblood of our economy in Cumbria.

"Whether you’re an early stage start-up or a growing business looking to scale, there is inspiration and support in abundance right here on the doorstep.

"We bring together expert advice, events, masterclasses and mentoring as well as providing access to a range of dedicated support programmes both local and national.

"Our advisers will work directly with businesses to create tailored solutions to unlock the potential of your company, whatever its size or sector.

"We make it our job to understand the breadth of support available, saving you time and giving you the freedom to focus on running your business."

Cumbria LEP is asking business owners who would like support to call 0800 069 6444 or fill out the form on its website.
