A CARLISLE pensioner has been accused of flouting a restraining order by contacting the woman the order is meant to protect.
Peter Donald Bulman, 77, whose address was given as Stonegarth, Morton, Carlisle, allegedly committed the offence on Monday, November 22, the city’s Rickergate Magistrates’ Court was told.
He has pleaded not guilty.
Magistrates granted the defendant bail until his next court appearance but this came with certain conditions. These include that the defendant should not contact the woman involved and not to go within 150 metres of a named property at Hethersgill, near Carlisle.
The case will next come before the court on January 4.
