CUMBRIA County Council are asking for feedback and input on how cycling and walking provisions can be improved in Carlisle.

However, the deadline on the public consultation closes today, this is the last chance to offer feedback on the improvements.

Residents and businesses are welcomed to give their opinions on how they can be the best they can.

Councillor Keith Little, Cumbria County Council Cabinet member for Highways and Transport, said: "This consultation will help identify and prioritise the improvements that are needed to enable everyone to feel confident they can walk or cycle to work, school, community hubs and other areas in each city/town and will allow us to apply to the Department of Transport for funding."
