A well-known online food delivery company is celebrating its second birthday in Carlisle by using newly collated data to reveal the eating habits of people in the city
More than 40 restaurants have signed up to Deliveroo since its launch in the city two years ago.
Deliveroo's Regional Director for the UK, Ben Lacey, said: "Our whole team here at Deliveroo are delighted that our rapid growth in Carlisle over the past six years means that customers have more choice, restaurants are able to increase their revenue, and riders have the opportunity to choose well-paid, flexible work."
According to the data, Friday at 8:30pm is the most popular time for Carlisle locals to order Deliveroo.
They also revealed that the Carvery For One from Toby Carvery is the most popular dish in the town and that 60 per cent of Deliveroo's delivery partners in Carlisle are independent restaurants.
The other most popular dishes ordered in descending order are the Boneless Banquet from KFC, Small Fish and Chips from Fontanas, a pack of five bananas from Aldi, and a Margherita pizza from PizzaExpress.
