Major road closure after incident involving car and HGV
A major road, which was closed in both directions, has now been cleared.
The A69, which connects Carlisle to Newcastle, was closed in both directions east of Haydon Bridge due to a two vehicle collision involving a car and HGV.
It is now open between Haydon Bridge and Hexham following the earlier collision.
