POLICE have given a warning for buyers ahead of Black Friday.
On their Twitter, Cumbria Police warned people about online scams, particularly with games consoles.
They tweeted: "Spotted a low price for a games console? #TakeFive - it could be a scam. Sound too good to be true?
"Are they refusing to provide additional photos? Do they want payment up front by bank transfer?
"Only use the secure payment method recommended by retailers and auction sites."
Black Friday is later this week.
Many retailers offer promoted sales at discount prices.
