CASH for Kids is back for another year and they've started the collections in style... with a huge Santa motorbike ride out.

The annual event aims to help disadvantaged children not miss out at Christmas.

Currently there one in three children are living in poverty in Cumbria and South West Scotland.

Dozens of bikers turned up in Carlisle to show their support for the children and managed to raise about £1,000 for gifts for the youngsters.

You can do your bit to help disadvantaged children in Cumbria and South West Scotland to experience the magic of Christmas this year.

Once again, a tremendous campaign launches to ensure thousands of youngsters who might otherwise go without have something to open on December 25.

Cash for Kids Mission Christmas is an annual appeal to make sure no child wakes up on Christmas morning with nothing to open.

Together, we can make a real difference this festive season.

Sara Oldham, charity executive and Chief Elf for CFM Cash for Kids said: "No child should wake up on Christmas morning without a present, we will make sure along with CFM mission Christmas that this will not happen.

"The Covid crisis has plunged more families than ever into poverty across Cumbria and south west Scotland so we are asking if we, can once again, count on your support for Mission Christmas 2021.

"As you know for the families and children we support, without your help they will wake up to nothing on Christmas morning.

"And with so many events and special occasions having to be cancelled this year, we cannot lose the magic of Christmas for these children.
