TWO youths from Carlisle have admitted illegally possessing CS spray during a hearing at the city's Youth Court.
The two 17-year-olds - a male and a female - entered their guilty pleas at the city's Youth court, admitting that they had the devices in a public place in the city on December 17 last year.
The charge states that having such spray devices without lawful authority is a criminal offence under the 1968 Firearms Act.
The 17-year-old female was told to pay £50 in prosecution costs. Her co-defendant will be sentenced on November 12 after background reports have been prepared.
Neither youth can be identified for legal reasons.
