A community centre is excited to announce a new event that will offer the chance for children to pic up a free Halloween costume.

Botcherby Community Centre on Victoria Road, Carlisle are holding their brand new Halloween Harvest event, in collaboration with Tesco, Period Poverty North Cumbria and Morrisons, on Wednesday October 20.

The event, which will run from 2pm to 4pm, will allow parents to pick up a free Halloween costume - donated by Tesco - for their children.

On top of this, there will be a number of other activities and information sessions on offer throughout the event.

The community centre's Pop Up Pantry will also be available for people to visit.

The Pop Up Pantry is open every Wednesday from 12pm to 4pm to offer support to those who need it.
