THREE men have been charged after police executed a drugs warrant.
The drugs warrant took place in Egremont and Cumbria police seized more than 1,600 suspected cannabis plants.
Pien Vo, 39, Hung Tran Xlian, 29, and Dung Van Nguten, 23, all of no fixed abode, were charged by detectives investigating the find at a property in Bookwell on Tuesday.
They have each been charged with the production of cannabis.
All three appeared before Carlisle’s magistrates’ court yesterday where the case was adjourned until a later date.
They were remanded in custody.
Police continue to ask the public to report any suspicious circumstances at any buildings to 101.
