A NEW dessert shop has opened in Carlisle.
Cumbrian cheesecake opened its vintage tea rooms and cafe on Lowther Street yesterday.
The shop is open for sit in and takeaway.
It offers various sweet treats, bagels, sandwiches and hot drinks.
Cumbrian Cheesecake announced its opening on Facebook.
The post said: "Come and join us for lunch, a cheesecake, tray bake or waffle and a coffee.
"Cheesecake boxes of two, four, six or 12 can be taken away! You can pop in to view and book our Vintage Tea Room.
"Booking is essential."
They added: "See you all soon!"
The shop is taking bookings for this weekend.
They are also accepting Christmas orders for cheesecakes and afternoon teas.
The cafe is open between 10am and 5pm Tuesday to Thursday.
Fridays and Saturdays it is open from 10am until 6pm.
On Sundays it is open from 12pm until 4pm.

Cumbrian Cheesecake is continuing to carry out orders through its website.
It previously had a premises on Infirmary Street which closed in August.
