A CARLISLE museum is restarting a community event next month.

Tullie House's Meet Me at the Museum returns on Wednesday, November 3.

The museum provides tea, coffee and a slice of cake for all attending.

The event provides an opportunity for people to chat, share stories, and do a range of activities.

These could include music, storytelling, costume, and craft.

Sessions will be different every time, and will draw on the museum collection for inspiration.

Meet Me at the Museum takes place every first Wednesday of the month and is free to attend.

There are sessions at 10am and 1pm, lasting 90 minutes each.

It is open to anyone, but Tullie House especially welcome those living with dementia as well as their friends, family, and carers.

It is also aimed at older people experiencing loneliness.

While the event is free, Tullie House encourages people to book.

If you have any questions or would like to book a place, you can email catherine.moss-luffrum@tulliehouse.org.

This is one of many events returning to the museum following the pandemic.

Tullie Toddlers, a recurring event where people can bring their children for a host of activities, starts back on Wednesday.

It takes place every second week.
