Botcherby Community Centre have organised a new event, ensuring that children in the area can enjoy a fun Halloween.

The Centre, located on Carlisle’s Victoria Road, will host their ‘Halloween Harvest’ event on Wednesday October 20, in collaboration with Tesco, Period Poverty North Cumbria and Morrisons Carlisle.

During the day, families will have the opportunity to browse and pick up free children's Halloween costumes that have kindly been donated by Tesco. A wide selection of sizes will be available for the little ones to enjoy getting into the spooky spirit.

Period Poverty North Cumbria will be on hand to provide information and advice sessions as well as providing free sanitary products. Morrison’s Community Champion, Joanne, will also be in attendance to have a chat with. The Champion, an employee of the supermarket, offers support and celebrates the work that the local community do.

Drinks and cakes will be provided, and there will be a pop-up pantry installed for guests to enjoy during their time at the centre.

The event is on from 2pm-4pm. More information on the event can be found on the Botcherby Community Centre Facebook page or by calling 01228 596992. Admission is free; however donations are welcome.
