THE Royal British Legion is opening a shop in Carlisle for Remembrance Day.
The charity's Carlisle & Stanwix branch will be operating a Poppy Shop in The Lanes from Saturday, October to Saturday, November 13.
It will be open Monday to Friday between 10am and 5pm, and on Sundays between 12pm and 4pm.
The shop will be located at 93 Lowther Street at the end of Grape Lane in the former Toni & Guy Hair Salon.
Carlisle City Council said on its Facebook page: "Please come along and purchase something from their range of Poppy Shop goods and/or make a donation to the Poppy Appeal."
