Dean Henderson has returned to action for Manchester United after recovering from Covid-19.
The Cumbrian goalkeeper featured for the Old Trafford club's Under-23 side in a game against Arsenal.
Henderson has missed out on the early weeks of the season after suffering from fatigue following a positive Covid test.
But the 24-year-old from Whitehaven is now stepping up his comeback as he continues to build up his fitness.
Red Devils boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer on Friday said ex-Carlisle United academy keeper Henderson has been "training well" and that the club were "looking to give him games with the Under-23s."
That was followed by Henderson's involvement in Saturday's 3-1 defeat at Arsenal, where senior team-mate Phil Jones was also in the Man Utd side.
Folarin Balogun scored twice for the Gunners with Shola Shoretire pulling one back, before Charlie Patino added a late Arsenal third.
Henderson will be hoping to push his way back into first-team contention under Solskjaer this season.
The Cumbrian star recently returned from the hip injury which curtailed his involvement in Euro 2020 this summer.
He then had to withdraw from a pre-season tour as he suffered from the effects of Covid.
Henderson claimed the first-choice goalkeeping position from David de Gea in the Premier League last season and will soon be hoping to reclaim the position in 2021/22 as well as further his England ambitions.
