A CARLISLE business is having a party to celebrate its full reopening after the pandemic.

The Studio, a fitness centre in Denton Holme, is offering its members and the public a bit of fun this Saturday.

Laura Lowrie, owner of The Studio, said: "I want to thank everyone that made it possible for me to stay in business over the last five years, as well as hopefully welcoming some new members."

Laura started doing classes in 2016 but now offers personal training and a gym facility.

You can attend the facility as either pay as you go or as a member but many people enjoy attending regularly.

Since the pandemic started the classes moved online which Laura and her clients did not enjoy as much.

Laura says that everyone is thrilled to be back to some normality.

She described it has having a strong social aspect giving women the opportunity to spend time away from their homes with like minded people.

The classes have been quiet lately as it has been the school summer holidays and many of the people who attend are mums.

However it is expected that it will be business as usual now that the new school term has started.

Mrs Lowrie added: "I'm confident and positive for The Studio's future; I think everyone has missed coming to classes as much as I've missed teaching them.

"You aren't able to cheat in class which means you can get the full experience."

There will be lots of drink and food at the party and it will be a good opportunity for Laura and her clients to catch up.

She said that she is looking forward to the coming event and hopes it will help to develop and expand her successful company.

Well done to Laura!
