COMMENT: Police react to public outcry of speed camera revelations
Speed cameras will be operating on a major Cumbrian road today.
Cumbria Police say their road safety camera vans will be in use on the A66 east of Penrith and the A685 between Tebay and Brough.
Motorists are urged to drive safely and carefully.
