PROPERTIES have been evacuated following concerns of a landslip in a West Cumbrian coastal village.
Police and partner agencies are currently in attendance in Parton.
The agencies have attended following concerns about the impact of the weather on the surrounding landscape and the potential impact on homes.
Around half a dozen properties are being evacuated in the vicinity of St Bridget’s School as a precaution and road closures are being put in place.
People are asked to avoid the area whilst the agencies work to help keep people safe.
