A FORTY-seven-year-old Carlisle woman has been given a 20 month ban after she admitted drink driving.
Cristina Pandele, of Newfield Drive, committed the offence on June 19 as she drove a Citroen C3 along Kingstown Road, Carlisle, the city's Rickergate court heard.
A breath test showed she had slightly over twice the legal limit of alcohol in her system.
The defendant, represented by defence lawyer Chris Toms, was also fined £346 and told to pay £85 costs and a £35 victim surcharge.
She was offered the drink driver rehabilitation course.
