MOUNTAIN rescuers came to the aid of a walker who became lost.
Patterdale Mountain Rescue (PMR) was called by police to help the woman in her early 60s.
She was walking on Gowbarrow, above Ullswater, and got into difficulty trying to locate the main road.
A spokesperson from PMR said: βOn speaking to the female she was not injured but very scared and stated she could not move.β
Four team members assisted her off the fell through a rope-relay system. She was walked back to Aira Force.
