A Carlisle woman has been banned for exceeding the legal limit
A PUNISHMENT was handed down by North and West Cumbria Magistrates Court to a Carlisle woman on Thursday for drink driving.
Cristina Mihaela Pandele appeared at the court sitting in Rickergate, Carlisle to face the charge of driving a motor vehicle on Kingstown Road whilst over the legal limit. She pleaded guilty and was ordered to pay a fine of £346, a surcharge of £35 and costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service.
Pandele was also disqualified from holding or obtaining a license for 20 months. Disqualification will be reduced 20 weeks if by 01/09/2022 the defendant completes a drink driving course.
