'Unforseen': Top-rated Carlisle restaurant forced into temporary closure
One of Carlisle's top-rated restaurants has closed temporarily, owners have confirmed.
In a post on their Faceboook site, popular Greek venue Alexandros, located on Warwick Road, announced that they had been left with no option but to close for 'the next 10 days'.
Their statement read: "Due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our control and in the best interests of our team and customers, we have had to temporarily close for the next 10 days.
"Please follow our Facebook page for more information."
The popular eatery is one of the city's most loved and boasts the highest rating of any restaurant in the city on review website Trip Advisor.
